Black Friday at Target

Can you believe that Black Friday is almost here? While the words "Black Friday" can conjure images of crowds and lines, there is an element of fun and excitement to scoring deals during holiday sales. Two years ago, I began a new tradition by venturing out after Thanksgiving to watch shoppers, take part in the excitement, and walk off the sweet potatoes I might've overindulged in. Admittedly, there's something thrilling about being able to shop all through the night. Furthermore, I'm a night owl, so I appreciate being able to shop late. Even if I just browse for gift ideas, shopping is one of my favorite ways to spend time with friends and family.

This year will be no different. Target is always my first stop for shopping because they stock everything from beauty products and electronics to housewares and apparel. It's one-stop shopping at its best. Plus, I can buy gifts for myself there, too (wink, wink)! I've got my eye on their promotion of 40% off Women's sweaters and jeans.

While I've already started buying holiday gifts, there are always more items that get added to my gift list. My strategy is to research Black Friday deals, browse Cartwheel promotions, create a specific list of gift ideas, shop with a helpful partner, and most importantly, wear comfortable shoes.

To help you prepare for Black Friday, I've curated a few of my favorite gift ideas from Target in a range of price points from $5 to $500.

This year you can get an early start because Target stores will be open at 8pm on Thanksgiving. Are you going to be out shopping? Do you have any shopping tips to share?
