What to Wear to a Holiday Party

The holiday party season is upon us, and that means it's time to pull out all the stops when it comes to glitz and glamour. 'Tis the season to celebrate with sequins, faux fur, glitter, and all-out shine. Some tips for what to wear to a holiday party:

Do: select one statement piece of jewelry to showcase. I love necklaces with solid dresses or low necklines, and I adore bracelets with short-sleeved or sleeveless styles.
Don't: overdo it with too much shine. Matte or dark sequins are a great choice if you're in doubt.
Do: opt for a luxe jacket in faux fur to keep you warm and cozy.
Don't: forget to add gloves, tights, or a beanie to keep you warm. You can still look sultry without showing skin!
Do: paint nails a glittery shade or carry a sparkly clutch.
Don't: wear heels you can't stand or dance comfortably in.
Do: mix textures such as velvet and sequins or faux fur and leather.
Don't: be afraid to try a new hairstyle or accessory look. This is the perfect time to play up the glamour!
