If this fringe top looks familiar, it's because I wore the black version to the beach recently. I loved it so much that I had to buy it in white. The floral jumpsuit and low-heeled boots make this just about the most comfortable outfit I've worn all summer, even more comfortable than my most worn-in cutoff Levi's or even pajamas.
I'm finally becoming excited about the transition to fall weather, although the prospect of fewer hours of daylight is slightly depressing. On a positive note, I'm looking forward to Fashion's Night Out, shopping for 1960s silhouettes, layering with heavier fabrics, wearing richer autumnal hues, and adding a few more boots to my closet. On the subject of boots, these Aldo Qualheim boots are about the closest thing I've seen to the Isabel Marant Dicker boots (besides the Steve Madden Pembrook, which sold out quickly and was recently restocked in 3 colors with a lower price point), and are comfortable enough to be worn for hours on my feet. It's the perfect boot for casual daytime looks, if you ask me.
