Ireland Photo Diary

Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to vacation in various parts of Ireland. Having briefly visited Dublin and nearby Wicklow a few years ago, I happily anticipated seeing more of the country from which some of my ancestors came.  This trip included some of the greenest fields, tastiest bread, lushest gardens, and hauntingly beautiful architecture that I've ever experienced. Each time I venture to new places and explore the history and culture of a different country, it gives me a fresh perspective on my daily life and it forces me to see things from a different point of view. I've come away from my time in Ireland with increased patience, tolerance, and an appreciation for the vast natural beauty that Ireland has to offer.

Below are highlights from areas including the Muckross House, Blarney Castle, the Tralee Rose Garden, The Longueville House, Dun Aengus, Killarney, the Dingle Peninsula, and the Ring of Kerry.
