Here's a look at how we both styled our black and white outfits.
We both opted to wear the trend with feminine graphic prints and we balance our looks with classic pieces such as a trench coat and pencil skirt. Doesn't Toni look ultra chic and professional?
Merona blouse, Old Navy floral sweatshirt, Forever 21 lace pencil skirt (also comes in red), H&M quilted sneakers (similar style I love), and Phillip Lim for Target mini satchel (splurge version)
This lace pencil skirt has seen frequent wear the past two weeks, as the mild California weather has allowed me to style it with everything from ankle boots and denim jackets to sneakers and sweatshirts. Wearing a pencil skirt is a way for me to step outside of my comfort zone of skinny jeans, and naturally, I enjoy dressing it down for busy days of running around town when slip-on sneakers are the order of business. Trend alert: slip-on sneakers are popping up in a variety of textures and prints for spring, and I can't wait to get my hands on the floral version by Peter Pilotto for Target. They're the ideal counterpoint to a dressy skirt or printed day dress.
