Bradshaw Moment

Confession: I never went to my high school prom because I had to take the SAT the next day.  Bummer, right? Although I missed out on the opportunity to dress up and dance with my friends, I performed well on the test which led to me gaining admission to my dream college. In retrospect, I made the right decision to skip the prom. (Shame on those people who scheduled the prom right before the big test, though!) 

So when this pretty brocade prom dress via British shopping favorite Boohoo came my way, I was able to have a Carrie Bradshaw moment last weekend. No limos, curfews, or awkward teenage dances were involved, and the addition of a special new belt and an old denim favorite gave the dress a personal touch.
