H&M necklace, Mossimo sweater, Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation at Kohl's pants, Aldo wedges, and Rebecca Minkoff bag (in putty or in black)
Pajama trousers can be polarizing; you either love them or you dislike them. Being an open-minded and adventurous person when it comes to fashion, I can appreciate the idea of slouchy trousers that are inspired by the bedroom but work in the boardroom.
I finally got my hands on these pajama trousers that caught my eye in the previews for the Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation collection at Kohl's. (If you'd like to see more of the collection and read my thoughts on it, please have a look at the review on my other blog.) I'm not sure what appealed to me more: the pajama-esque medallion print, the incredibly comfortable charmeuse fabric, or the relaxed fit which includes roomy pockets.
I balanced the casual vibe of the trousers with a sparkly necklace and walkable wedges for a day of running around town. They're the kind of trousers that I didn't want to change out of when the day winded down. The stylist in me thinks that the pants would effortlessly do double duty with a breezy T-shirt for leisurely days at home, or with a tuxedo blazer and strappy stilettos or platform pumps for a night out.
