Merona tee layered under J. Crew animal print sweater, Old Navy jeans, assorted bracelets, vintage handbag, and Margiela for H&M invisible wedge pumps

Perhaps you read about my Margiela for H&M shopping experience on my other blog, or maybe you saw my photos from the L.A. preview party on Instagram. One of my most-coveted items from the collection was this pair of floating heel/invisible wedge pumps. I knew I'd regret not buying them when I had the chance, and given their neutral color, fascinating floating heel illusion, and leg-lengthening effect, I had a feeling they'd be a cinch to style with many things in my closet. For instance, this merino wool sweater that meets my strict requirements for the ideal animal print knit: it's soft, comfortable, fits well, and is perfect for layering. My conclusion? It's J. Crew for the win when it comes to wardrobe basics.

Those heels really are one of the most versatile pieces from the collection--- and you styled them perfectly. There is always a risk of looking like a stripper in lucite, but this look is all class!!!
