Zara blouse, 7 for All Mankind jeans (similar) c/o RueLaLa, Chloé handbag (current version that I love), and Mossimo pumps (similar)
This handbag is one of the few pieces in my closet that's stood the test of time. You see, in the summer of 2006 I developed an obsession with the Chloé collection. The fresh white frocks, sturdy wooden platforms, and schoolgirl satchels spoke to my preppy and feminine side. I set my sights on the Edith bag and promptly began to stalk eBay. In a stroke of luck, I outbid a handful of eager hopefuls in my first ever bidding experience (and better yet, I got it at a great price). Soon after I received it, I faithfully carried it to work, but then I grew wary that I'd get it dirty with everyday use. So away it went into the dark depths of my closet. To this day, it's one of my favorite handbags, but I carry it infrequently so as it to keep it in good condition. That won't be the case with these jeans, however, as the dark color and slim fit will make them suitable for frequent wear with everything from floral blouses and leopard print pumps to more casual attire involving slouchy sweaters and ankle boots.
