Forever 21 chambray top (similar style here and under $25 version here), Love Culture floral trousers, Aldo handbag, assorted jewelry, and Michael Antonio Gallista heels

I've been hunting for the perfect worn-in chambray top for so long that I almost gave up hope. Infinite thrift store versions always included some kind of unwanted embroidery or the wrong fit, so I continued to hold out.  When this See by Chlo√©-esque style caught my eye, I immediately pounced on my prey.  The faded pocket squares, roomy fit, and pearl snap closures make this one a keeper.

As comfortable as the top is with my pajama-esque pants, I also envision it tied in a knot over floral dresses, tucked into pleated skirts, paired with printed and colored denim, or worn open (as a jacket of sorts) over loose tank tops and cutoffs for summer.  Any piece that can do double duty as a top or jacket gets top priority in my bulging closet.
