Given the predominance of florals on my blog lately, it's a sign that spring is officially underway. I could not be more excited, as I love looking forward to long summer days this time of year.

As for my top, it's that shirt again, reworked and tied in a knot as a topper for what must be the most feminine and ladylike skirt in my closet. The longer length and pleated details garnered more glances than I desired from beachgoing onlookers, who are probably more used to seeing flip flops and shorts than 6" wedges and A-line skirts in this casual area. I confess that I'm completely OK with being more dressed up than others when it involves two things I love - platforms and florals.

SHOEGASM. I love this color. I love everything about them. Pretty sure I would be close to average height wearing them.

Melissa, you look amazing!!! You seriously can wear florals and it just looks so right on you! I love the casual denim top (knotted of course :)) with the Wu skirt. I don't think I would have thought of that. :) I think I need to shorten my skirt because it falls a little below the knee and I don't like where it hits. Maybe because I'm short? LOL. Love those wedges too!! Hope you have the best weekend! <3
