Wearing: Forever 21 heart necklace, Zara sweater, American Apparel Slim Slack (similar), Boohoo leopard handbag, and Aldo Netz sneakers

After a lengthy and unsuccessful search for the perfect red cable knit sweater at various thrift stores, I hit the sweater jackpot at Zara this season. Finding the perfect sweater is no easy feat for me, especially since my criteria includes: the right length (not too short or too long), a soft hand to the fabric (I often find wool and angora to be itchy), and a hefty but not overly bulky construction (for layering).

A cozy knit with jeans and sneakers is all about comfort for me, and Aldo's take on Isabel Marant's hidden wedge sneakers fit the bill for days when I want a tiny bit of height and a casual shoe without the appearance of a heel.  Speaking to their high comfort factor, they're the kind of shoes that I don't immediately take off when I get home, and as a lover of impractically vertiginous heels, I can certainly appreciate that.

First, THESE PHOTOS! The red sweater plus the red top... such a good idea. Second, if you wake up one morning and all your shoes are missing, it was me! Why spend 700 bucks on Isabel.. those are ahh-mazing.
