When it comes to prints in my wardrobe, there's an ongoing battle between animal prints and florals. I'm not sure which one reigns supreme - leopard or Liberty-inspired prints. My newest dress, with its shimmery star print, is an exception. It's a shade of rust that I seldom wear, but it's autumnal color seems fitting for fall. When paired with my well-worn leopard print cardigan and practical Aldo boots, it suits me for a day of editing photos, working on blog projects, running errands, and walking in the park. For fancier endeavors, I'll wear it with my gold glitter platforms (as seen in a previous post) and a vintage beaded jacket for some added sparkle. And how about that asymmetrical V-shaped hemline that's higher on the sides? It's a first of its kind in my closet, and the mini-maxi vibe is a great compromise for days when I can't decide how much leg to flash, provided that it's not too windy.
