Crochet pieces have become somewhat of a uniform for me the past few months, as I seem to wear crochet pieces several times per week. These particular pants, being crochet, semi-sheer, and ivory, posed a slight styling challenge. Fortunately, I knew my versatile chambray top would be the ideal mate. The shoes, which aren't completely visible, are a T-strap platform style I just got from GoJane. They're likely inspired by the ubiquitous Jessica Simpson Dany and Jeffrey Campbell Foxy heels, except much more affordable. As the owner of both the former and the latter, the GoJane version is equally as comfortable, if not more, and they run true to size. (You could buy 3-4 pairs of the GoJane style for the price of one pair of the others as long as you're not averse to synthetic materials.)
Having voted at this restored Victorian farmhouse which was built in the 1890s, I've always been drawn to its historical charm and quiet simplicity. If I didn't feel like such a trespasser, the wrap around porch and rocking chair would make the ideal place for me to lounge with a September issue and a cold drink.
